According to Amazon, the programme will give developers with a published Alexa Skill, the opportunity to build and host Alexa skills using AWS platform by receiving $100 of free credit. Plus $100 of monthly credit if AWS charges are incurred in relation to the published skill.  This is on top of the already existing AWS no charge tier which offers up to 750 hours of Amazon EC2 compute power and and AWS Lambda requests.
